Why I Started ropov patch

For me, repairing clothes is about much more than covering up a tear. It’s a quiet moment to slow down, appreciate the pieces I cherish, and give them a fresh story instead of letting them go.

That simple, mindful process is what led me to create ropovPatch — a way for others to enjoy the same creativity and connection I feel every time I mend something by hand.

I truly hope this kit brings a little calm, inspiration, and satisfaction into your day, just as it does for me.

The PatchMaker holds your fabric in place while you weave thread back and forth to create a strong, knitted patch. By going over and under each vertical thread, you create an interlocking structure that holds the patch securely in place.

It depends on the size and pattern selected. On average, one patch takes approximately 15–30 minutesto complete.

Most threads and yarns will work well. For best results, we recommend using slightly thicker thread or yarn, as it fills the area more evenly and creates a stronger, cleaner finish.
